No new cases on South Coast today

Of the 935 locally acquired cases of COVID recorded across NSW, there have been seven new cases reported in Southern NSW to 8pm last night and no new cases reported in the Eurobodalla, Bega Valley or Snowy Monaro.

New case location Southern NSW: 

Three new cases are in Goulburn – all are linked to known cases.

Two new cases are in Yass – both are linked to known cases.

Two new case is in Queanbeyan – both are under investigation.

The South Coast recorded eight new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend.

One new case in Narooma and seven in Batemans Bay, with all new cases linked to the current Batemans Bay cluster.

Two cases in Batemans Bay have recovered and been removed from the active total which sits at 15 cases in Catalina & Batemans Bay, one case in Narooma and two cases in Cooma.

Fragments of the virus have been detected in the Sewage at Eden over the weekend - with the community there urged to get tested with even the mildest symptoms.

Everyone in these areas is urged to monitor for the onset of symptoms, and if they appear, to immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
