Residents of the Bega Valley who have ideas about how to reduce disaster risk and build resilience in the Valley are invited to attend a workshop with the CSIRO.

The CSIRO and Bega Valley Shire council are working on a project to increase resilience, particularly in the food, energy, housing and public infrastructure sectors of the local economy.

CSIRO is now seeking participation from interested individuals from across the Bega Valley who can help shape ideas in these areas.

Three half-day project workshops are scheduled at the following locations:

  • Cobargo on the 11th of May
  • Eden on the 12th of May
  • Bega the 13th of May

If you are interested in participating in any of these sessions, please register your interest here
