The NRMA is warning Far South Coast residents to be prepared for the storm season.
The insurance organisation says over one million households across the state are unprepared for severe storms, and latest figures show towns across regional NSW are among some of the hardest-hit over the past year.
Luke Gallagher from NRMA Insurance is urging local residents to get ready with more storm clouds on the horizon and to clean gutters and down pipes.
Meanwhile the latest climate outlook from the Bureau of Meteorology says above average rainfall can be expected on the Far South Coast until at least January as La Nina and other wet climate driver systems remain in place. The bureau says nights will be warmer than average.
