Bega Valley Shire Council says while the rain is very welcome for our region, it's another challenge for people living in temporary accommodation following the bushfires.

Council and recovery agencies are ready to help anyone who needs assistance in these wet conditions.

If your current accommodation arrangements have been further compromised by this weather event please call our recovery hotline on 6499 2345 or Service NSW on 13 77 88.

Please share this with friends and families who might not be online, people who you think might need this help and information.

While some rejoice at the rain, these conditions are another test for our community. Please share your thoughts and experiences with those around you. Counselling services are also available and ready to support you.
