Regional Australia is on the map

Do you think our population is growing ? Are there new faces around town ?

I was reading an interesting article about regional Australia this morning and it quotes some fascinating numbers.

Oversees migration added 84,700 to Sydney's population in 2017, however 105,060 left Sydney with a large percentage; around 40,000 people moving to Regional NSW. Apparently Sydneysiders are realising that Regional lifestyles are often better for families, stress and work/life balance.

I certainly appreciate regional living. Yes I miss not being able to go to more concerts and sporting events. Often there are exhibitions that I would attend if I lived closer to Sydney but on the whole I really appreciate the quieter regional lifestyle.

What about you ?
