A woman has been taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega after being treated for minor injuries at the scene of a crash between Bega and Tathra on the Far South Coast last night (Thursday February 15).
About 8.30pm on Thursday, emergency services were called to Tathra Road, Jellat Jellat, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers from South Coast Police District told East Coast Radio they arrived to find a blue Haval H6 down an embankment of the ‘Jellat bends’, down the south side of the road.
Tathra road was closed in both directions for a period of time with some traffic delays but was swiftly cleared and reopened.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 33-year-old woman – was released from the vehicle then treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.
She was taken to South East Regional Hospital for further treatment.
Police inquiries into the incident continue.
