Work to replace two water reservoirs is underway for the towns.
In Bemboka, the 36-year-old steel water tank is being replaced with a 420,000 litre modern fusion-bonded epoxy coated one designed to last for at least 50 years.

Bega Valley Shire Council is also replacing the existing concrete tank with a 1.6 megalitre one to supply the Brogo–Bermagui water system.
