Motorists urged to take care in the wet after crashes in Pambula and Brogo

There has been a crash in Brogo on the Princes Highway at Warrigal Range Road between Bega and Cobargo this morning (Monday January 30).

Emergency services responded to reports of a car hitting a wall around 10:30am today.

Paramedics treated two patients for chest pain – a man and a woman both in their 70s. They were taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega for further treatment.

Southbound traffic was affected with motorists advised to reduce speed and exercise caution in the area.

There was also a two car crash in Pambula this morning.

The incident occurred just before 11am coming down the hill into Pambula before the 50km zone on Princess Highway approaching Monaro Street at Bald Hills just north of the township of Pambula.

South Coast Police attended and no injuries were reported.

Officers attached to the South Coast Police District are reminding motorists on the South Coast to slow down when roads and wet and drive to the conditions.

They’re also reminding drivers that 40km/hour school zones are back in force across NSW.
