A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the Snowy Monaro Region yesterday.
Just after 1.10pm on Monday (April 24) emergency services were called to the Snowy Mountains Highway at Dry Plain – about 40km northwest of Cooma – following reports of a crash.
On arrival, Monaro Police District officers were told a truck had crashed and rolled, trapping the driver.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended; however, the driver died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified but believed to be a man aged in his 50s.
A crime scene was established which was forensically examined, as police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
