The Forestry Corporation says a hazard reduction burn in Bermagui State Forest will continue today.
The burn near the intersection of Wallaga Lake Road and Cobargo-Bermagui Road is helping reduce forest fuel loads.
The intentional fire follows one conducted last year to safeguard the Bermagui township, which was impacted in 2023 and the Black Summer Bushfires in 2020.

The 400-hectare burn is expected to continue burning until Wednesday next week.
