January 30, 2023 6:21 am in by

A motor vehicle accident involving a car towing a boat south of Mogo yesterday has affected northbound traffic.

Emergency Services were called to the Princes Highway at Jeremadra just after 11am on Sunday with reports a boat and trailer had flipped upside down.

With many visitors from the ACT heading back to Canberra from the South Coast as school holidays came to an end, traffic was banked up for a short time.

Fire crews provided fire suppression as they noticed the boat was leaking fuel and stood by while it was quickly removed from the shoulder of the road by Croakers Towing Service.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.

Emergency Services have thanked passing motorists for slowing down and allowing all services to undertake their jobs as quickly and safely as possible to reopen the road.
