The Hopman Cup is probably the most enjoyable, entertaining tournaments during Australia's summer of tennis.
It's a country v country mixed competition held in beautiful Perth and even though it's a big event you see the much lighter side of the players.
WA is getting to be big on the world map with thanks to players like Roger Federer getting great selfies at the Pilbara's and with Quokka's on Rottnest Island.
Last year Switzerland took on Germany in the final with the Swiss winning.
This year's final was exactly the same with one of the most thrilling mixed doubles ever to decide the event.
Sasha Zverev & Angelique Kerber from Germany taking on the Great Roger and Belinda Bencic from Switzerland.
In the final set it came down to one point and it was an amazing rally to end the match with Roger and Belinda snatching the match!
It was also the speeches made at the ceremony that were unforgettable. Sasha basically telling Roger to get lost and give someone else a chance - in the most humourous and loving way of course.
The Brisbane International wrapped up yesterday with Kei Nishikori and Karoliine Pliskova taking the titles.
The Sydney International is on now and then we look foward to the first slam of the year - The Australian Open in Melbourne.
My heart's with Angie Kerber to win the women's and Roger to go one more in the men's draw!
