R.I.P Judith McGrath

Judith McGrath was born in Brisbane and kickstarted her love of acting at Brisbane Arts Theatre.

She started with small roles including the Flying Doctors and A Country Practice.

In 1979 she joined the cast of Prisoner playing the fair minded but sarcastic Deputy Governor Colleen (Po Face) Powell.

Her best remembered role was in All Saints. Judith was the only actor that was there from Episode One to the end in 2009.

Her voice was once described as gin and cigarettes.

She had been battling a long illness and passed away surrounded by family and friend aged 70.

Vale Judith McGrath.
