As part of the Strategy and Place Team, this role will lead and assist in a range of projects that creates a strategic planning framework that reflects existing and future needs of Eurobodalla’s community. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly motivated to deliver outcomes to improve resilience, sustainability, and liveability on the far south coast.
Council is both leading and responding to a range of local and regional challenges and opportunities. The role will see the opportunity to both lead and be involved in a diverse range of planning projects, including activation and place making, planning proposals and development control plans to support sustainable growth, heritage management, master planning, State planning and infrastructure projects, housing and settlement strategy, and many other strategies and plans as required to shape Eurobodalla.
Council has embarked on a range of projects that demonstrate excellence in placemaking and community consultation and we’re looking for someone who will help us continue this trend; someone who is highly motivated, a great communicator, interested in a challenge, a lateral and strategic thinker, enjoys project work and being an integral part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team leading cultural change.
Depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant, the total remuneration for the role is in the range $87,030.71 to $97,334.44 gross per annum consisting of:
• $79,118.83 to $88,485.85 base salary,
• $7,911.88 to $8,848.59 superannuation (at 10%)
A Council leaseback vehicle including full private usage is available for this role. For a suitably experienced applicant, a hybrid model of remote and office based working arrangements would be considered and negotiated.
