Shorebreakers is an Early Learning centre and Pre-School located in Pambula, NSW. Shorebreakers provides excellent early childhood education and care programs for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 years. Shorebreakers is a 60 place centre with approximately 20 staff and is a wonderful environment for all children, families and staff. We have 4 classrooms, including Nursery, Toddlers, Transition to Pre-School and Pre-School. We invite and welcome family and community input, involvement and have an open-door policy.
Our educational programs are play-based, child led programs, guided by the EYLF, the Department of Education Regulations and the National Quality Standards. We honour diversity and inclusion. Our service is well resourced both indoors and outdoors, and we recently upgraded our outdoor learning space.

Skill Required

We value teamwork and reliability and are seeking some reliable, dedicated, passionate educators to join our wonderful team, to work as both permanent and support staff. You will be working with an experienced management team, provided with uniforms and support to develop professionally. We are open from 7am-6pm and require our successful applicants to be flexible with their shifts within these times.

To be considered for any of the above these roles you must have the following:

Essential Criteria
*Current Certificate 3 and/or Diploma of Children's services or working towards.
*Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate.
*Current Working with children check.
*Good working knowledge of the NQS and EYLF.
*Understanding of the Department of Education regulations.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Teamwork ethos
*Be available 5 days (for the full-time role)
*Passionate about working with children and families in an early years settings

Desirable Criteria
*Previous experience in early years settings is preferred, however for the right person we are flexible
*Well presented
