We’ve got a job loaded with variety based at the Moruya Airport in the beautiful Eurobodalla Shire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Airport crew to assist with maintaining the Moruya Airport in a safe operating condition in compliance with CASA and Council standards.

Your daily duties will include Airport safety inspection checks including runway, security and fuel checks, completing relevant logs and ensuring incidents are reported. You will carry out minor maintenance including cleaning, mowing and grounds work, minor building, runway, and lighting maintenance. In addition, you will be required to monitor, report and respond to emergency, safety and security requirements and assist in the operation, inspection and maintenance of various airport facilities such as navigation aids, radio systems, meteorological devices and fuel facilities.

Early morning starts to prepare for the first daily commercial flight will be required. Additionally, you will be required to participate in Airport on-call roster.

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $36.50 to 38.80 gross per hour consisting of:

• $33.18 to $35.27 base salary,
• $3.32 to $3.53 superannuation (at 10%)

Skill Required

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated knowledge of Airport Operations and Maintenance requirements and regulations; knowledge of Aviation Security requirements and safety management systems and well-developed customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively. Previous experience in aviation or airport operations is highly desirable.
