Eurobodalla Shire Council is evolving its role as a leader in Place-Making in regional NSW. Following the integration of tourism, economic development, and strategic land use planning, into the Strategic and Sustainable Growth division the Council has embarked on a range of projects that demonstrate excellence in placemaking.
The opportunity exists for an urban planner with a passion for and strength in urban design to be part of a team leading cultural change in developing precinct master plans, the design of urban release areas, town centre activation plans and Development Control Plans. You will be joining an enthusiastic and dedicated team to ensure delivery of accurate urban planning outcomes and affecting the way the Shire is shaped for the future.
Reporting to the Co-ordinator of Strategy and Place working in a small team, this role offers an attractive blend of ‘hands on’ involvement in urban planning and urban design within a policy and project framework. Exciting current projects requiring urban design input include Batemans Bay urban design, master planning urban release areas and the Moruya Town Centre Bypass Project.

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $90,886.07 to $97,334.44 gross per annum consisting of:
• $82,623.70 to $88,485.85 base salary,
• $8,262.37 to $8,848.59 superannuation (at 10%)
A Council leaseback vehicle including full private usage is available for this role. For a suitably experienced applicant, a hybrid model of remote and office based working arrangements would be considered and negotiated.
