IRT at Home, a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. We are seeking motivated and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team for an immediate start on a part time or casual basis.

Our industry is constantly growing rapidly and as a result we currently are looking for people who have a genuine passion for supporting older Australians living independently. You will be joining a supportive and growing team that is passionate about providing general, personal and clinical care to our customers who remain living independently.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming
• Providing domestic assistance such as food preparations, household cleaning and assisting with finances
• Transportation to medical appointments, shopping, social outings and other customer tasks
• Regular reporting and communicating customer progress
• Following individual care plans

Skill Required

To be successful you will have:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to relate empathetically to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• The ability to use technology such as smart phones and computers
• An understanding of safe work practices and appropriate manual handling procedures
• A current valid driver’s licence
• A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
• The availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends
• Certificate III in Individual Support or working towards (Desirable)
• Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
