Eurobodalla was significantly impacted by the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires. Hundreds of homes, many businesses and thousands of hectares of bushland were damaged or destroyed. Recovery is a long-term process that is different for everyone.

Come join our team and be part of that recovery process. Applications are invited for this unique position responsible for increasing the capacity of the volunteer workforce to provide services to residents living in the Eurobodalla Shire who were impacted by the bushfires.

As well as developing and implementing effective approaches to encourage, recruit and recognise volunteers in the Eurobodalla, you will be responsible for delivering volunteer inductions and ongoing training programs.

Skill Required

Along with excellent communication and sound computer skills, the ability to collect data and report program outcomes, your experience coordinating, encouraging and increasing participation in volunteer programs will be essential to your success in this position.

Previous experience working in a disaster recovery service program with volunteers as well as a certificate IV in Volunteer Program Coordination and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
