New South Wales Blues coach Brad Fittler and Sky Blues Coach Kylie Hilder have travelled over 5,200kms to visit 11 football clinics in regional parts of the state, as they set a recruitment challenge for the Hogs tour 2023 season.

One of the main programs of the NSW Rugby League Foundation focuses on regionally finding the next up-and-coming rugby league stars, and one of their final stops is on the South Coast.

Fittler and Hilder will be at Ack Weyman Oval in Moruya from 4:30pm to 5:30pm on Friday (February 17) which is in excellent condition after hosting the NRL Pre-season trial match between the Canberra Raiders and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs last Sunday.

Fittler said people of all ages are welcome to come along to the clinic.

“We just come down to say hello, catch up with the locals and have a good time,” Fittler said.

“There will be a bit of a clinic on Friday afternoon, so come and ask some questions if you feel like you want some help.”
