The inaugural Quad Crown Mountain bike Series event will be held out of the towns of Eden and Tathra on the Sapphire Coast.
Each Quad Crown event is a mini stage-race, meaning distances are far friendlier on the legs and allow more time to enjoy the stunning surrounds and social environment.
As the name suggests the Quad Crown event will be held across four locations, and four stages.
The re-jigged line up will look like this:
#SapphireCoast – August 5-7
#EastGippsland – September 9-11
#SunshineCoast – October 7-9
#Tasmania – November 18-20
The Sapphire Coast leg, will look like this:
Friday August 5
-Prelude – Secret Location (approx 8-10km / 150m elevation).
Saturday August 6
-Stage 1 – Tathra North incl Mogareeka (approx 28km / 410m elevation).
-Stage 2 – Tathra South incl White Rock and Games Bay (approx 32km / 530m elevation).
Sunday August 7
-Stage 3 – Eden and Freshwater Creek Trails (approx 28km / 900m elevation).
