Full Force Of Cyclone Debbie!

She might be slow moving but her force is fearce with powerful winds, lashing rain and leaving a trail of destruction as she moved onto the coast of Far North Queensland.

Hamilton Island, Bowen, Airlie Beach & Proserpine copping the brunt of her power.


She has now been downgraded to a severe weather system but winds continue to blow at 85+ kilometres per hour with high tides and torrential rain.


At least 45 000 homes are without power and until conditions calm emergency services and the power people will have to wait before fixing the outage.

Residents have been prisoners in their own homes to Cyclone Debbie as she blew 100+ kilometre winds for 12 hours!
