Hey team, I’ve just learnt that Oz Legends Mental As Anything will be working at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club on Saturday June 30th. I’ll tell you more soon.

A Tathra Fundraiser

Tathra is the venue for a cancer council fundraiser this weekend. There will be market stalls, a prawn eating competition and a dog race with a difference. A good old fashion party is on the menu at the Tathra Pub this weekend and it’s all in aid of the Cancer Council. The inaugural Tathra Pub fundraiser is going to be a quirky family friendly event with a huge charity auction and a “Pink” party with the public being encouraged to dress up in something pink. Another star gone

Today we have learnt of another star who has passed away. He may not have been the front man for the legendary band The Doors but Ray Manzarek who passed away last night at the age of 74 was the founding member of The Doors. He founded The Doors after meeting up with then poet Jim Morrison in California. Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison were the frontmen for The Doors and Ray Manzarek is regarded as one of the best keyboard players in rock music history. His brilliant keyboard work was highlighted on The Doors classic Light My Fire.... Read more
