FORMER Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has declared his support for same sex marriage. In a blog on his website tonight (Monday 20 May 2013) he said that "I have come to the conclusion that church and state can have different positions and practices on the question of same sex marriage", Mr Rudd said, "I believe the secular Australian state should be able to recognise same sex marriage". The NSW government is prepared to consider increasing speed limits on South Coast roads if it's deemed safe, Premier Barry O'Farrell sid. Roads Minister Duncan Gay has flagged raising speed limits by 5km or 10km per hour, if the roads meet certain standards.
