Malua Bay Blaze Leaves Two Hospitalised

A house fire in Malua Bay kept emergency crews busy yesterday morning.

The blaze is believed to have started in the basement of a home when fire fighters were called to the scene at around 10am.

Around five trucks and 20 fire fighters and emergency volunteers had the fire under control by the early afternoon.

Two occupants in the house were hospitalised with smoke inhalation and one fire fighter suffered burns.

Emergency crews don't know what sparked the fire but it's not being treated as suspicious.

Hazard Reduction Burns at Ulladulla and Eden

SA Shooting Incident Sparks More Hunting Debate

NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell remains committed to plans to allow hunting in national parks despite a ban on a similar program in South Australia.
