Snowy Mountain Highway Road Works Continue

If you are planning to travel on the Snowy Mountain Highway, apart from causing concern for business owners in Bemboka and Nimmitabel, these road works on Brown Mountain are causing some delays, mainly between about 9 and 2 each day.

While traffic control are onsite, the culvert upgrade work and the installation of new safety barriers will be ongoing, and best to allow extra time to your journey.

Bega Blood Bus Needs Donors

The Red Cross is calling for Bega residents to drop by and donate blood at their mobile donor bus after a spate of cancellations. The bus is in Bega today and tomorrow, and a number of donor appointments have opened up because of colds and flu. Red Cross Community Relations Officer Sally Gavin said the cold and flu season often takes its toll on donations. Pambula to Eden Powerline Upgrade

Essential Energy will upgrade more than 16 kilometres of high voltage powerline between Pambula and Eden in a project that will deliver a more consistent and reliable electricity supply to the local area. The project is part of Essential Energy’s ongoing commitment to upgrading and maintaining the electricity network across south-eastern NSW.
